Brandi’s Journey With RMCU
Brandi is somewhat of a wonder woman, organizing all of the inner workings at RMCU to make sure our ship sails smoothly. As the VP of Operations, she makes sure that our daily practices are helping us meet our goals and looks at our processes to find the most efficient way of doing things. It’s her behind-the-scenes work that allows RMCU to improve its service for members every day.
If that weren’t enough on her plate, Brandi is also a mom to three and a co-owner of two businesses with her husband: a successful commercial cleaning business and Sean Mergenthaler Construction. She and her family have worked hard to build their lives here in Bozeman, and her journey with RMCU was a big piece of the puzzle.
After working as an RMCU Branch Manager for more than six years, Brandi was promoted to Training Manager, then VP of Operations. Overall, she’s been serving our southwest Montana members for more than eleven years.
For the Love of Sports, Food and Travel
Brandi’s go-getter attitude is inspired by incredible, strong women like Mildred (Babe) Didrikson Zaharias, an Olympic athlete who won two gold medals in track and field back in 1932. She’s also one of twelve women who banded together to start the LPGA in 1950, paving the way for women’s sports in many ways.
Brandi is an active woman herself, hiking the nearby trails in the summer and skiing the slopes in the winter. Camping with her family in the summer is easily her favorite way to get some quality time with the people and places she loves. And once she’s worked up a strong appetite outdoors, she hits the Bozeman restaurant scene.
For breakfast, she’s all about the classic Bozeman staple, The Western Cafe. For lunch, she’s big on fresh soups, salads and sandwiches from Maven’s Market or The Farmer’s Daughters. When it comes to dinner, it depends on the vibe. A treat-yourself sit-down experience? Open Range. Casual noms or takeout on the couch? Thai Basil, all the way.
Brandi has a lot on her plate here in town, but she adores traveling to Maui, Hawaii any chance she gets. And as travel starts to reopen around the world, she can’t wait to start planning her next international trip – ideally to Europe.
