Project for Alternative Learning (PAL) is more than just a school. It is a place of knowledge, tolerance, respect and understanding. RMCU has partnered with PAL to help support its mission to provide a unique learning community for students in the Helena area. “Here at the Project for Alternative Learning, we work tirelessly to give our students experiences they would otherwise never have,” said government teacher Ryan Cooney. “From funding our annual Gates of the Mountains trip to putting on a Financial Reality fair for us to always being willing to help with whatever we might need, RMCU is an invaluable friend and resource to PAL and to our Helena community.”
Through this partnership, RMCU has provided financial resources to PAL, as well as volunteer time from their staff. RMCU employees have volunteered their time and provided support by sponsoring their annual field trip.
In addition to its partnership with Project for Alternative Learning, RMCU also offers special accounts for nonprofits that come with reduced fees, making it easier for these organizations to manage their finances. This initiative has helped to ensure that nonprofits can focus on their mission and impact the community in meaningful ways.
All of these initiatives demonstrate RMCU's commitment to supporting the community and helping local nonprofits thrive. By providing financial resources, volunteer time, and other forms of support, RMCU is making a real difference in the lives of students and other important causes in Montana.
