RMCU Supports: Inspire Academy

Inspire Academy is more than just another organization promoting youth fitness. It teaches life skills and perseverance. That’s why RMCU partners with Inspire Academy – to support its mission to increase productivity and passion in youth in the Butte community. 

Former Montana Tech wide receiver Dion Williams Jr started Inspire Academy in 2022, providing quality sports training to youth in his community of Butte, Montana. His goal isn’t just to produce athletes, but to provide kids a positive outlet, encourage strong work ethic, and instill a sense of belonging.

What is Inspire Academy?

Inspire Academy hosts a variety of sport and fitness activities in the Butte area, including:

  • Sport tournaments
  • Speed and agility camps
  • 1-on-1 personal training
  • Group workouts

Most activities require registration fees, but scholarships are available to low-income participants, allowing them to attend activities throughout the year for free. 

Camps, tournaments, and workouts are open to all ability levels, regardless of any previous experience in sports. 

Outside of its regular sports and fitness activities, Inspire Academy also hosts community events and supports youth in Butte in other ways.

The latest example is the upcoming School Supply Giveaway BBQ on August 31st at the Copper Mountain Recreation Complex in Butte. Until then, Inspire Academy is accepting all school supply donations to help offset the cost of school for kids in the community. 

RMCU’s Partnership With Inspire Academy and Other Local Nonprofits

Inspired by Dion’s mission to uplift kids in the community, Rocky Mountain Credit Union began supporting Inspire Academy with youth scholarships so that more kids can access its programs. RMCU employees also volunteer their time at Inspire Academy. 

To support more organizations like Inspire Academy, RMCU also offers nonprofit business accounts with reduced fees, making it easier for local nonprofit organizations to manage their finances. It’s a simple way to ensure that nonprofits can focus on their mission and impact the community in meaningful ways.
