After working at another local financial institution in Montana, Kristen was looking for her long-term career. While attending church in Helena one Sunday morning, she learned from an RMCU employee that the credit union was hiring, and the rest is history. Now an RMCU employee of 4 years, Kristen is happy to have the career she was searching for.
Bringing Help and Guidance to the Community
As a consumer lender, Kristen works with many members in the Helena community who come to her nervous that they won’t be able to qualify for the loan they want. But to Kristen, this is just the start of finding the right program or loan for them. Even if a member doesn’t qualify for their desired loan, she can help them get on their way to their goals. That’s perhaps the most rewarding part – showing members that there is help, guidance and support in their community.
Kristen loves when members ask questions, empowering themselves with the knowledge to be in control of their finances. But she also encourages members to “trust the process,” because it can be new and scary.
“I love helping members get into the loan that helps them achieve their goals,” Kristen said.
Whether the goal is a new boat for ripping around Canyon Ferry, a car to accommodate a growing family, or simply getting a credit card to start building credit for the future, Kristen is committed to members from all walks of life. She’ll take the time to sit down with you and listen, understanding where you want to be and what matters most.
