Steps to Get Registered For Digital Banking

Ensure Your Contact Info is Up to Date On Your Account (Email/Phone)

iOS Users Update App/ Android Users Download the RMCU App in the Play Store

Register for the New System. Existing Usernames/Passwords WILL NOT be Converted to the New System.

Enable Biometric Authentication with Face/Touch ID on iOS or Fingerprint on Android from the Security Page

Register for Digital Banking

When registering for digital banking, ensure you know:

  • Your account number 

  • Your social security number/TIN

  • Email address associated with your account

  • Your date of birth


Access Registration
From the sign-in page on desktop or your smartphone, navigate to the registration page using the "Register" button.

Fill out the registration form to verify your identity. If the information is correct, you will be prompted to create a username and password. 

Sign In
After successful registration, you will be able to sign in. On your first sign-in on any browser or device, you will be required to retrieve a verification code from an email address or phone number we have on file (aka 2-factor authentication) do not share this code with anyone. RMCU Staff WILL NEVER ask for this code.

During this process, you can opt to trust the browser/device you are using to skip 2-factor authentication on subsequent sign-ins. 


Biometric Authentication
After your first sign-in on a mobile device, you can set up Face/Touch ID on iOS or Fingerprint on Android from the Security page.

You must trust your device during the 2-factor authentication sign-in process in order to use biometric authentication.

How do I update my contact information?

Contact us at 406-586-1505 or through the settings widget in your current online banking.


What are the password requirements?

- Must be between 8 and 20 characters

- Must contain upper and lowercase letters

- Must contain a number

- Must contain a special character.  (! ” # $ % & + ; < = > ? [ ] ^ _ ‘ { | } \ / - )  

- Can’t be a password you have used the last 2 times, 

- Can’t contain personal data such as social security number, date of birth, or address.


What are the user name requirements?

Must be 8 characters and can not start with a number


Will I have to change my username and password? 

Yes, you will need to reset your password. 


Will I have to re-set up my automatic payments? 

No, existing Automatic Payments will transfer over to the new system. Be sure to confirm this transferred once you get registered. 


Will I have to re-enter my bill pay information? 

No, existing bill payees and scheduled payments will transfer over. Be sure to confirm this transferred once you get registered. 


Will I still be able to see all of my accounts through one login?

Yes, all accounts you are a joint owner on will show through one account.


Can I still deposit checks in the app? 

Yes, Remote Deposit Capture is available on the new system.
